Many stories circulate as to the identity of Dreamweaver. Many people, important people, claim that he was brought into this world at the exact moment no fewer than fifty Beijing swordmasters were invoking the names of the forgotten gods. Other people assert when the final dynasty fell, the last female member of the Khan family assured when having a Chinese name would be vogue, the mid to late 1990s, Dreamweaver would be appear. Still others claim that he emerged fully grown from a winter melon split by Chen Kenichi during Battle Tilapia.

While his origin is questionable, Dreamweaver's legacy is not. He is a founding member of The Three Color Budo, who along with Ninja Gremlin and Wado grew restless with the lack of ninja and martial arts-based activity going of at The Shinku-san Corporation. Leaving with a head full of secrets learned during his tenure there, he resumed the martial arts training he'd put on hiatus during his company tenure. The difference now, was that Dreamweaver had a purpose. Before, he admitted to himself he was a martial artist because he was Asian, it was still the 80s, and they're wouldn't be a market for Asian people not doing karate until someone decided to start dubbing Slayers and M.D. Geist. Now, Dreamweaver wanted it. He wanted to be a martial artist. Where he lacked purpose in his life, he had it now, and less than a year later, while traveling the world plying his trade, Dreamweaver discovered he could fly. Not float. Fly. Of his own free will. He could crush buildings with open-handed palms. Kick holes in human bodies ten deep. Dreamweaver could stop someone's heart from beating with his mind. With his newfound power, Dreamweaver wanted nothing less than to test the limits of it.

So he found Dave-san.

The true testament to Dreamweaver's power is that he was not killed. He was injured, damaged, ruptured, spindled, cosmically and psychologically stretched to his limit, but not killed. Dave-san, caught in a moment of benevolence or otherwise, did not kill Dreamweaver.

And so Dreamweaver decided to resume his travels. Now with outer space as his stage, he ventured forth to attain the perfect understanding he yearned for, a unity of body and mind through martial arts. At one point during his travels, the cosmos itself awarded him with the intergalactically-recognized symbol of supreme honor: The mauve belt. Since then, Dreamweaver has occasionally returned to Earth, to aid his former fellows of The Three Color Budo, or to take on the deadly alien race of Uyersuyer. Generally though, Dreamweaver considers the matters of Earth to be of little consequence, and does not meddle in the daily affairs or petty rivalries that abound. This is partially because he doesn't care and because Dreamweaver's tether to his homeworld has diminished as his travels have progressed. It is speculated that if someday, when all would be lost without Dreamweaver's help, he won't be able to come back, even if he wants to...
