Politicians from both the left and right decried it as a worthless waste of taxpayers' money. Scientists proved over and over again that it couldn't possibly work. Environmentalists screamed and foamed at the mouth because it killed kittens. But now...

Still at something of a beta-test level, admittedly, and I'd appreciate it if you folks could keep your eyes peeled for any nasty bugs that might still be lurking in there. Enjoy!

Useful commands and tips:

• Typing a capital 'X' will ask you if you want to enter "explore mode". In this mode, you will be prompted to continue if you die, which is handy for new players. You can't get an entry on the high score table this way, though.
• Typing a ';' is "look at what's on a square"
• Typing a ':' is "look at what's on your square
• Typing a '@' will turn auto-pickup on/off; you can use ',' (comma) to pick things up when it's off
• Typing a '/' accesses the encyclopaedia
