Mild-mannered garage band member Alexanne Dubaboiler was practicing her electric guitar in the kitchen one day, while her mother was fixing dinner. During an especially sweet and prolonged solo, Alexanne accidentally upset a pan full of caramelized onions and garlic, causing it to flip directly onto her head. Despite swift removal of the scalding pan, the damage was done, and poor Alexanne was rendered totally blind. After a tiresome legal battle that saw both her mother and father put in stocks and hit with rotten vegetables, Alexanne was legally declared an emancipated minor, and remained a virtuoso of the electric guitar despite her blindness.

Some years later, Alexanne was admitted to the hospital, complaining of severe headaches and white flickers dancing before her eyes. Treatment was never prescribed, as shortly after her admittance, the entire hospital and a ten-mile radius was vaporized in a super-charged explosion of light. Staggered, but alive through some contrivance, Panheadgirl was rescued by a nearby agent of The Shinku-san Corporation, and discovered to possess the ability to emit pure unstoppable bursts of light from the entire top half of her head, including her eyes. After numerous failed attempts and killed Nobel Prize-winning professors hired at gunpoint, it was concluded bronze was the only metal capable of containing these immense energy surges. Alexanne was given a frying pan of bronze, rechristened panheadgirl, and made an employee of the ever-expanding company.

Technically an assistant to El Bandito, panheadgirl's vocation ranges from enemy interrogation, to tactical mission planning, to rocking out hardcore on her vintage 1979 bright pink "Princess Jun" Tatsunoko electric guitar. panheadgirl is able to remove her pan in dire situations and releases tremendous light pulsations from the top half of her head. It is described as feeling as though your genitals are being seared off with the force of a thousand collapsing stars. She posesses a latent psychic ability that allows her to see reasonably well despite being physically blind, and has the comparitive strength and stamina of any average young woman with a pan painted pink on her head and plaid zipper pants.

In the recent Shinku-san Comics publication El Unchained issue #1, panheadgirl's parents return to the scene and are shown to possess similar powers to their daughter. The father (whose name has not yet been revealed; issue #2 is not released at the time of writing) can emit light blasts from his left foot, and the mother from her right breast.
